Ujjain is one of India's oldest cities and home to the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga — one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in the country, and the reason most guests come here. L&K Homestay sits in Sunrise City, a residential pocket a short ride from the temple, the newly built Mahakal Lok corridor, and the ghats along the Kshipra river.

All four deliver to the flats, so a late dinner or a forgotten packet of tea is never a problem. D-Mart is within walking distance for a bigger grocery run — useful when you're cooking in the flat's own kitchen.
All three work in Ujjain. Lav and Kush suggest Rapido first — handy for a short hop to Mahakal, including the pre-dawn Bhasma Aarti run. Auto and cab stands are close by too if you'd rather not use an app.

We came from Hyderabad to visit the Mahakal Temple, and this stay was absolutely worth it! The property is just 10–15 minutes from the temple, very clean, spacious, and budget-friendly. The fully equipped kitchen was a big plus… A special thanks to the owner for responding to us early in the morning when we were struggling to find accommodation.
