Practical answers about the flats, the location and getting around Ujjain. If yours isn't here, message us on WhatsApp — Lav or Kush will reply the same day.
It depends which flat you take. Our 2BHK flats (we have four) have 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and comfortably sleep 6 — up to 9 with extra bedding. Our single 3BHK flat has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, sleeping 8 comfortably and up to 14.
Larger groups often take two flats in the same building, which keeps everyone together. Message us with your group size and we'll tell you what's free.
Entirely your own. Each flat is private — your own kitchen, your own bathrooms, no shared walls with other guests and no shared common areas. It is not a hotel floor with rooms off a corridor.
Yes, and it's one of the things guests mention most. Each flat has a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, induction cooktop and basic cooking utensils, plus RO drinking water. Families travelling with children or older relatives, and anyone keeping a satvik diet during their Ujjain visit, tend to find this the deciding factor.
Air conditioning in every room, high-speed Wi-Fi, a smart TV, fresh linen and towels, toiletries, hot and cold water, a balcony, and lift access to the flat. Housekeeping is regular, and our caretaker Mahesh is on call 24/7 — guests regularly thank him by name in their reviews.
A short drive. Guests who have reviewed us put it at roughly 10–15 minutes by road — one recent guest timed it at about 12 minutes. The exact time depends on traffic and the time of day, and it is noticeably quicker in the small hours if you're heading for the Bhasma Aarti.
We're in Sunrise City, a quiet residential pocket behind Anjushree Hotel, which is why it stays peaceful at night despite being close to the temple.
Yes. Rapido, Uber and Ola all operate in Ujjain — Rapido is the one we'd suggest first. There are also local auto and cab stands close by if you'd rather not use an app, which is useful at odd hours.
Yes, free parking on the premises. You don't need to hunt for a spot or pay separately if you're driving in.
The nearest airport is Indore (about an hour away) and Ujjain Junction is the railway station. We've written this up properly in our guide to reaching Ujjain.
We don't run a kitchen or serve meals — we're a homestay, not a hotel. What we do give you is a proper kitchen of your own, and a neighbourhood where everything reaches the door.
Easily. Swiggy and Zomato deliver here, and Blinkit and Instamart cover groceries and anything you've forgotten. For a bigger grocery run, D-Mart is within walking distance.
The simplest way is to message us on WhatsApp or call 73891 11152 with your dates and the number of guests. Lav or Kush will confirm availability and the rate for your dates, usually the same day.
If you'd rather book through a platform, we're also on Airbnb and MakeMyTrip. Booking direct usually works out better for both of us, since there's no platform commission.
Confirm the exact timings with us when you book, since they can vary with the flat and the season. We try to be accommodating where the calendar allows — one guest noted we let them check out a little late when they needed it. If you're arriving on an early train or a late flight, tell us in advance and we'll plan around it.
Yes — most of our guests are families here for Darshan. There's lift access, so stairs aren't an issue, plus a kitchen for home-cooked meals and enough space that a group isn't on top of each other. Luggage assistance is available too.
We think so, and a guest who stayed solo said as much in her review, calling it a "very safe space for a woman too". The building has CCTV, there's a caretaker on call around the clock, and it's a residential neighbourhood rather than a busy commercial strip.
Bhasma Aarti passes are issued by the temple administration itself, through the official Government of Madhya Pradesh portal — no hotel, homestay or agent can issue them, and there is no authorised third-party seller. What we can do is help you plan the very early start it needs. We've explained the process in our Bhasma Aarti guide.
Ask us directly — you'll get a person, not a form.
